Launch of ANREV/INREV/PREA Investment Intentions Survey 2019

ANREV is pleased to invite you to join our briefing in Singapore on Wednesday 16 January for the launch of our Investment Intentions Survey 2019. The 2019 survey attracted 148 replies in total, including 138 institutional investors and 10 funds of funds managers. Ms. Amélie Delaunay, ANREV's Director of Research and Professionals Standards will share with us the survey highlights this is followed by a panel discussion moderated by ANREV CEO Alan Dalgleish. The event concludes with networking drinks.

Amélie Delaunay

Director, Research & Professional Standards

ANREV

Amélie Delaunay is the Director of Research and Professional Standards for ANREV. She is responsible for the development and implementation of ANREV’s Research, Performance Measurement and Professional Standards programmes in Asia Pacific, including market information and performance indices, global surveys and promotion of best practices for the industry.

Amélie has more than 17 years of experience in the real estate industry and a strong real estate consulting background initially with Ernst & Young. She has been based in Asia for more than 13 years.

Educated at the Sorbonne in Paris, where she was awarded a post graduate degree in Urban Geography, Town Planning and Real Estate, Amélie also has an Advanced Master's Degree in Urban and Real Estate Management from ESSEC Business School in Paris. Amélie is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Alan Dalgleish FRICS

Chief Executive

ANREV

Alan Dalgleish is responsible for leading ANREV's Executive Office team and for working with ANREV's Management and Executive Boards to implement the Association's strategic growth plans. He was previously ANREV's Director of Research and Professional Standards. 


Alan has an extensive real estate background, principally in research, consulting and capital markets, having spent over 30 years working in real estate markets throughout Asia.

Previously, Alan was based in Singapore where he was responsible for the Consulting and Real Estate Finance business lines in Asia of CBRE, one of the world’s leading commercial real estate service providers. Prior to this he was Country Manager for Colliers International in the Philippines. He worked for many years in Hong Kong, for leading investor and developer Hongkong Land, a member of the Jardine Group of companies, as well as for investment bank Société Générale and early in his career in a research role for First Pacific Davies.

Alan was educated in Scotland where he attended Edinburgh University and arrived in Hong Kong in 1982. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Wenning Jung

Senior Vice President – Franklin Real Asset Advisors

Wenning Jung joined Franklin Real Asset Advisors in March 2007.  Ms. Jung is involved in sourcing and evaluating private real estate investment opportunities throughout Asia.  She is also involved in business development initiatives in the region. 

Prior to Franklin Templeton, Wenning served as an investment officer at the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS), where she was responsible for implementing CalPERS' Asia real estate investment strategy, and managed US$1.2 billion equity portfolio of commingled funds and separate account. Wenning’s responsibilities also included managing CalPERS' Real Estate Risk and Insurance Program which supports the acquisitions and financing of U.S. core real estate assets.

Ms. Jung holds a B.S. in finance from California State University, and speaks Mandarin and conversational Cantonese.

Dr Megan Walters

International Director – Head of Research

JLL

Dr Megan Walters is an International Director at JLL and Head of Research, leading a team of 170 researchers in Asia-Pacific, part of a team of 300 researchers globally. The team provides research thought leadership, data collection and analysis across the markets, including JLL’s Real Estate Intelligence Service, considered the industry’s leading market research service for real estate.

Dr Walters is a Fellow of RICS with a PhD from the University of Hong Kong in Institutional Economics of Real Estate. Megan has an interest in the issues of multiple ownership property (strata title), property rights on urban environments and city development. Megan joined JLL in 2010 as Head of Research, Asia-Pacific Capital Markets, a role responsible for advising investor clients and generating publications on office, retail and industrial real estate trends in capital markets. She is also a member of the JLL Global Research Executive with responsibility for coordination of the JLL Global Office Leasing Group research requirements.

Megan sits on the research committees of ANREV and APREA and is the ULI Women’s Leadership representative for Asia-Pacific on the WLI Global Committee. Megan held an Adjunct Associate Professor position at the National University of Singapore and served on the RICS International Governing Council for 2009 to 2015.

 

Richard van Den Berg

Fund Manager

M&G Real Estate

Richard joined M&G Real Estate in August 2017 as the Fund Manager for M&G Asia Property Fund, responsible for investment strategy and fund performance with oversight of acquisitions, divestments and asset management. Richard has been actively involved in Asian real estate management since 1989 with previous roles in Hong Kong at the Mass Transit Railway Corporation, Rodamco Asia, ING Real Estate and CBRE Global Investors. His previous roles have covered the full range of real estate investment activities in asset management, investment and fund management across Asia Pacific. Prior to joining M&G Real Estate, Richard was Managing Director, Executive Committee member and Investment Committee member of CBRE Global Investors based in Hong Kong covering Asia Pacific with a direct responsibility for Greater China.

Richard holds a MSc in Architecture from Delft University and an MBA from Erasmus University both in the Netherlands.
