Benjamin Martin-Henry

Associate Director, Research Australia

CBRE

Benjamin Martin-Henry has 10 years of experience in Australia and the UK across investment analysis, research, strategy, and product development applied within the property sector. He has expertise in property sector performance metrics, interpretation of macroeconomic and financial market data and product development.

Benjamin began his career at IPD in London (now MSCI), where he worked predominantly in research. Upon transferring to the Sydney office Benjamin took on the role of Lead Client Consultant for the Asia Pacific region.

Benjamin is now Head of Capital Markets, Forecasting & BTR within CBRE Research. In his current role, Benjamin is responsible for producing thought leadership for the benefit of CBRE Capital Markets and its clients and forecasting the major property sectors.

Additionally, Benjamin is responsible for spearheading CBRE’s understanding and development of the BTR sector. He has produced two well-received industry papers. The first focusing on why investors need to enter the sector and how best to do it. The second modelling the impact major taxes are having on potential developments. Benjamin is also a member of The Property Council of Australia’s Built to Rent Roundtable.
