PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT – THE ANREV INDEX
The ANREV Index is a suite of indices which measures the quarterly performance of Asia Pacific non-listed property funds using data back to 2006. The indices are composed to reflect the post-tax financial performance of the Asia Pacific non-listed property funds market, taking into account fees and leverage. Core, value-added and opportunity funds are included in the suite of indices produced, along with country specific indices for Australia, Japan and China.
Confidentiality is of great importance to ANREV. The data collected for the index will only be used at an aggregated level and no individual fund information will be disclosed.
This database provides an overview of the key characteristics of over 160 non-listed real estate vehicles in Asia Pacific.
The vehicles database plays a key role in improving transparency in the industry by allowing end-users to find new investments, review existing funds, for competitor analysis and product development.
The database is the basis for quarterly analysis on the size and growth of the Asian non-listed real estate fund industry as well as being the platform for other ANREV research studies.
ANREV publishes an ongoing series of ‘Technical Papers’ - known as 'Red Papers' - which are punchy, research-themed reports of interest and direct relevance to the non-listed real estate industry, preferably with a perspective which makes the paper relevant in an Asian context.
The purpose of the papers is: to encourage and stimulate more research into Asian real estate markets; to support further development of market transparency; and to provide a foundation to promote and distribute quality research to those interested in the non-listed real estate industry.
