Director, Research & Professional Standards
Amélie Delaunay is the Director of Research and Professional Standards for ANREV. She is responsible for the development and implementation of ANREV’s Research, Performance Measurement and Professional Standards programmes in Asia Pacific, including market information and performance indices, global surveys and promotion of best practices for the industry.
Amélie has more than 16 years of experience in the real estate industry and a strong real estate consulting background initially with Ernst & Young. She has been based in Asia for more than 11 years.
Educated at the Sorbonne in Paris, where she was awarded a post graduate degree in Urban Geography, Town Planning and Real Estate, Amélie also has an Advanced Master's Degree in Urban and Real Estate Management from ESSEC Business School in Paris. Amélie is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Group Executive - Global Investor Relations
Richard joined Charter Hall in 2010 and has over 25 years of experience in real estate funds management, real estate finance, accounting and risk management. Richard leads the investor relations team responsible for engaging with and servicing the investors in Charter Hall's listed and unlisted funds.
In his previous role as Head of Charter Hall Direct, Richard oversaw the rise of the Direct business from outside the top 10 managers to the market leading fund manager in the unlisted retail sector in just three years. Since 2010, the Direct Property division has launched over 12 new funds and currently has over $2.8 billion under management.
Prior to joining Charter Hall, Richard was a Division Director of Macquarie Group and Chief Executive Officer of Macquarie Direct Property Management Limited. Previously to that, Richard was a General Manager with Lend Lease Corporation Limited and a senior manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
Martijn Van Eldik
Head of Funds Advisory
JLL Asia Pacific
Martijn is the Asia Pacific Head of the Jones Lang LaSalle Funds Advisory team, based out of the Singapore office. He is responsible for coordinating the firms efforts on private fund advisory and capital raising activities in Asia Pacific. An important part of Martijn’s role is to organize our coverage of indirect capital flows into real estate from institutional investors in Asia Pacific; ensuring that we have a deep network of relationships and regular dialogue with all indirect capital sources investing in real estate as well as with their consultants.
Martijn has over 15 years of relevant experience, specialising in cross border capital transactions and has been working in Asia since 2004. Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Martijn was at Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing where he was responsible for the capital raising in Asia Pacific and the Middle East for the Morgan Stanley Real Estate suite of closed-end opportunistic funds and open-end core funds (2012-2017). Previously, Martijn was at CBRE Global Investors and its predecessor entity, ING Real Estate Investment Management, a firm where he spent over 10 years in various roles focusing on capital raising and fund development.
Martijn is Dutch and has lived & worked in The Netherlands, Hong Kong and Singapore. He studied business economics at the Erasmus University in The Netherlands and has a Msc in Real Estate from the Amsterdam School of Real Estate. Martijn is on the Executive Board of ANREV.
Managing Director of Investment Management - Australia
Josh was appointed Managing Director, Investment Management in May 2016. He is responsible for Lendlease’s Australian investment management, asset management and retail development businesses. Prior to this, Josh held the roles of Chief Operating Officer, Property, Australia and Group Head of Integrated Solutions.
Josh also held a number of senior corporate finance roles at Lendlease from 1999 – 2005, including Chief Financial Officer of Bovis Lendlease – Asia Pacific and Corporate Finance Manager for the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to re-joining Lendlease in 2012, Josh spent seven years as Managing Director in the Macquarie Capital Funds business in Sydney and London, with responsibility for managing Macquarie’s investments in broadcast transmission and wireless telecommunications infrastructure businesses. During this time, Josh also held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Broadcast Australia and subsequently at Arqiva in the UK.
Josh has significant international experience in real estate and infrastructure investment, ownership and operations, including managing complex capital investment and restructuring projects; as well as six years’ experience as a corporate finance executive with responsibilities across Lendlease’s development, funds management and construction businesses.
