  Amélie Delaunay
Director, Research & Professional Standards
Amélie Delaunay is the Director of Research and Professional Standards for ANREV. She is responsible for the development and implementation of ANREV’s Research, Performance Measurement and Professional Standards programmes in Asia Pacific, including market information and performance indices, global surveys and promotion of best practices for the industry.
Amélie has more than 16 years of experience in the real estate industry and a strong real estate consulting background initially with Ernst & Young. She has been based in Asia for more than 11 years.

Educated at the Sorbonne in Paris, where she was awarded a post graduate degree in Urban Geography, Town Planning and Real Estate, Amélie also has an Advanced Master's Degree in Urban and Real Estate Management from ESSEC Business School in Paris. Amélie is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
  Koichiro (Ko) Maeda
Managing Director - Head of Alternatives Japan
Deutsche Asset Management
Ko is responsible for all facets of direct real estate investment management business in Japan for the Alternatives and Real Assets platform. He joined the firm in 2014 with more than 20 years of industry experience.
Prior to joining, Ko was a Managing Director at Prudential Real Estate Investors in Tokyo leading business development initiatives and overseeing disposition activities. Before that, he was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley/Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities as a real estate banker in Japan working on cross-boarder transactions and private real estate fund structuring and placements. Ko started his career at Mitsui Fudosan Co. Ltd., a leading listed property developer in Japan, and was part of the founding team member of Mitsui Fudosan Investment Advisors, one of the first real estate investment advisory companies in Japan.
Ko holds BA in Economics from Keio University; MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School; MA in International Studies from its School of Arts & Science (the Lauder Institute).

  Kunihiko ‘’Nick’’ Okumura
International Director – Head of Acquisitions Japan
LaSalle Investment Management

Mr. Okumura joined LaSalle in 2011 as Head of Acquisitions in Japan.  He is responsible for acquisitions for LaSalle Asia Opportunity Fund and other separate account mandates.

He has over 20 years of Japan real estate experience and completed over US$10 billion of debt and equity transactions across multiple asset classes.  Prior to joining the LaSalle Group, Mr. Okumura served as Principal at Westbrook Partners, and Senior Vice President of Global Real Estate Group at Lehman Brothers.  During his tenure at Lehman Brothers, he stated up and led the commercial mortgage business and completed multiple CMBS transactions.

Mr. Okumura holds a B.A. in English from Kwansei Gakuin University (Tokyo) and M.A. in International Studies from University of Washington.

Shinji Kawano
Head of Overseas Property Investment
Tokio Marine Asset Management

Shinji Kawano is a Head of Overseas Property Investment in Tokio Marine Asset Management. At the current role, he spearheads all of the overseas property investment activities on behalf of Japanese institutional clients. Prior to assuming the current post in 2012, he held various senior positions in fund management, asset management, business development or market research in the firm. Prior to joining Tokio Marine Property Investment Management (presently, Tokio Marine Asset Management) in 2003, he worked as Investment Manager for Tokio Marine Fire & Insurance (presently, Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance) where he was responsible for direct investments in Japan and the UK as well as indirect investments in the US.
