Launch of Investment Intentions Asia Survey 2017

ANREV and the Property Council of Australia invite you to our briefing in Melborune on Thursday 30 March.

Investment in Asian real estate is picking up pace and the market is constantly evolving. Get ahead of the curve for 2017.
 
Ms. Amélie Delaunay, Director of Research & Professional Standards of ANREV will:

  • share her insights on the latest results of Asia’s Investment Intentions Survey 2017; and
  • analyse the investment preferences/trends of investors and fund managers by region, sector and strategy.
  • Industry leaders will join Amélie after the presentation to discuss the survey impacts, and views on investment in 2017

Amélie Delaunay
Director of Research & Professional Standards
ANREV

Amélie is responsible for the development and implementation of ANREV’s Research, Performance Measurement and Professional Standards programme in Asia.
 
Amélie has 16 years of experience in the real estate industry and a strong real estate consulting background initially with Ernst & Young. She has been based in Asia for more than 10 years.

Educated at the Sorbonne in Paris, where she was awarded a post graduate degree in Urban Geography, Town Planning and Real Estate, Amélie also has an Advanced Master's Degree in Urban and Real Estate Management from ESSEC Business School in Paris.
 


 

Nicholas Harris
Head of Funds Management, Group Strategy & Research
The GPT Group

 
Nicholas is responsible for The GPT Group’s funds management platform. He plays a key role in the development of the Group's strategy and is responsible for the Group’s research and transactions functions. Nicholas joined GPT in mid-2006. Nicholas has been involved in the Australian property and property funds management industry for over 27 years, including roles at BT Funds Management Limited and Lend Lease Corporation. During his career, his roles have included property and asset management, portfolio management, capital transactions and business development. Nicholas is a member of GPT’s Leadership Team, Investment Committee and Valuation Committee.
 
Nicholas is a member of the Executive Board of the Asian Association for Investors in Non-listed Real Estate Vehicles (ANREV) and a member of the Property Council of Australia’s International and Capital Markets Division Council. He is also a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
 

 

Tim Stringer
Principal Consultant – Head of Property
Frontier Advisors

Tim Stringer joined Frontier in 2014 as a Senior Consultant and heads our property research and advisory team.  His responsibilities at Frontier include providing real estate consulting advice to Frontier’s clients, and involvement with strategy, investment and manager research.  

Tim has 30 years of experience in the commercial property sector, having held senior executive, fund management, portfolio management, and advisory roles with Colonial First State Global Asset Management Property, where he was CEO, Summit Capital Advisors, and AMP Capital Investors.

Tim has completed a Graduate Diploma in Property from RMIT University, holds an Associate Diploma in Valuation from RMIT University, and is an Associate of the Australian Property Institute.

 

Pete King
Head of Property
VFMC

Pete joined VFMC in 2008 and is currently Head of Property.
His role involves responsibility for and management of investments in a A$4bn portfolio of core unlisted property funds and club style investments in Australia, together with a smaller portfolio of core plus and opportunistic funds both in Australia and internationally. In this role, Pete sits on advisory boards and investor committees relating to eight funds as well as being a member of VFMC's Total Risk Allocation Committee (TRAC).

Prior to joining VFMC, Pete held roles at Investa Property Group and Pinnacle Property Group.

He holds a Bachelor of Business from RMIT University, Graduate Diploma in Finance and Investment and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from Melbourne Business School.

Pete is a Professional Member of RICS and a Fellow of FINSIA.

 

Adam Davis
Director, Property

Wingate
 
Adam has more than 15 years’ experience of all facets of the property and property finance sectors, acquired through a number of senior executive roles in Australia and also the US. He is known as a specialist in the risk assessment, structuring and funding of commercial property transactions.  Adam is a Director in Wingate’s property business, which has funded over $6 billion of property value since 2008 via the investment of in excess of $1.25 billion. Prior to joining Wingate, Adam was based in New York where he established and led the US operations of Grocon.
