Tim Jowett joined Grosvenor Asia Pacific as Head of Research in March 2016.  Tim is responsible for conducting research related to strategy, investment and execution incorporating macroeconomic, property market, and secular/thematic considerations.   Tim was previously at Heitman, where he worked as Director of Asia-Pacific Investment Research.  Prior to that he worked at Moonbridge Capital, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and JP Morgan Asset Management & Colliers CRE in London.  Tim holds a Masters & Bachelor of Arts in History from Kings College London.

Charles is European Head of Sales, overseeing capital raising and investor relations for Europe, the Middle-East and Canada. Charles joined AXA IM – Real Assets (formerly AXA Real Estate) in 2012 as Head of Investor Relations for the €12bn Real Asset Finance department. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of AXA IM – Real Assets.

Prior to join AXA IM – Real Assets, Charles acquired experience abroad selling Fixed-Income, Real Estate finance and Securitized Products with Morgan Stanley, UBS and other major investment banks, where he served as Director, overseeing the distribution of structured products and solutions to institutional clients in France, Belgium and Luxembourg. Charles holds an MBA degree from ESSEC and a Master Degree from IEP Paris (Public Affairs) and is Lecturer in Finance at IEP Paris.
 
 

Benjamin Cha
Chief Executive
Grosvenor Asia Pacific


Benjamin Cha took up the role of Chief Executive, Grosvenor Asia Pacific on 1 April 2015, following an interim period beginning in September 2014 in which he operated as Managing Director, Grosvenor Asia Pacific.  

Ben was previously with UBS Global Asset Management as Managing Director and Head of Global Real Estate for Greater China. Prior to UBS, he was with HKR International Limited, a Hong Kong based developer, for eleven years, latterly as Executive Director and Head of HKR Asia Pacific. Earlier in his career he was with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

 

Ben Sanderson 
Director of Fund Management
Hermes Real Estate Investment Management (HREIM)

HREIM are a London headquartered institutional real estate fund manager with AUM of £6billion. Ben is responsible for all international real estate investments made on behalf of HREIM client funds as well as overseeing HREIM’s real estate debt investment programme.


Ben has extensive experience of debt and equity real estate investing across public and private markets. Before joining HREIM in September 2008, Ben was Fund Manager of the M&G Global Real Estate Securities Fund and managed the UK Prudential’s global real estate securities exposure. Prior to that, he led UK Prudential’s (now M&G Real Estate) global view formation and strategy team for their £17 billion of real estate assets under management. From 1998 to 2003 Ben worked in London and Tokyo for Jones Lang LaSalle as part of the European and Asia Pacific real estate research teams.
