Summary
As the financial downturn has put an increased focus on transparent and consistent reporting to investors, this one hour practical online training will introduce the key building blocks to support best practice in the area of adjusted NAV calculation.
It will include a high level examination of using INREV Net Asset Value (NAV), including short explanation of the calculation examples.

The training will include the following topics:

• Understanding INREV NAV
• Walking through a calculation example
• How to report on INREV NAV and the level of disclosure according to INREV Guidelines

The course will be of interest for investors, fund managers as well as advisors who would benefit from an introduction to INREV NAV. Attendees should have a basic understanding of reporting requirements but wish to improve their practical knowledge on this aspect of the INREV Guidelines.

Jef Holland Partner Deloitte

Jef Holland is partner and member of the Real Estate Industry Group at Deloitte in the Netherlands. He has been involved in the audit of real estate funds, development companies and property managers for several years. Jef is a Chartered Accountant and joint Arthur Andersen in 1999. In 2002 Jef moved to Deloitte. Jef has experience with the coordination of audits for multinationals, the audit of companies with dual listings, (initial) public offering in the Netherlands and the U.S. and with International Financial Reporting Standards and U.S. GAAP. Further Jef has experience with the structuring of several investment funds (Real Estate, Fund of Funds) and has been involved in developing IRR-models and other return rate models for such funds. Jef is a delegate of Deloitte in the Netherlands at the European Association for Investors in Non-listed Real Estate Vehicles (INREV). Jef is the chairmen of the reporting committee of INREV.
