ANREV Annual Conference 2023 is successfully held in Tokyo on 11 & 12 October. Over 400 attendees at  Toranomon Hills Forum on 12 October and enjoyed cocktails and dinner the night before at Gajoen Hotel. 

The conference themed “Opportunities in APAC – Heading for sustainable growth, resilience and diversification”, is a unique opportunity to explore the latest trends and opportunities in the Asia Pacific region's real estate market and gain valuable insights into how to achieve sustainable growth, resilience, and diversification in your portfolio.

The conference opened with a presentation from Dr. Danny Quah, Dean and Li Ka Shing Professor in Economics, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS, he is also the author of “The Global Economy’s Shifting Centre of Gravity”. Dr. Quah delivered an insightful session on global and regional economic and political interdependencies, shedding light on the complex relationship between economic growth and political stability, as well as the challenges and opportunities presented by the evolving global landscape. 

The conference also heard from the world’s leading real estate investors discussed the global real estate outlook, future of living sectors, as well as robust sectors in Japan including office, logistics and hospitality. The conference also explored the trend of investing in open-ended funds in the region. 

Closing the conference, Chiang-Ling Ng had an in-depth interview with Mr. Kazunari Yaguchi at the Japan Post Bank and Mr. Rainer Komenda at BVK who shared their perspectives on investment outlooks. 

The conference provided ample opportunity for networking, there was pre-conference cocktails and dinner, breakfast, extended lunch, coffee breaks and post conference drinks.
