ANREV is pleased to invite you to a briefing in Shanghai for the launch of our Investment Intentions Survey 2023.
The 2023 ANREV/INREV/PREA Investment Intentions survey covers allocations and investment intentions of major institutional investors and funds of funds managers. Ms. Amélie Delaunay, ANREV's Director of Research & Professional Standards will share with us the key highlights of the survey followed by a panel discussion.
The presentation of the survey highlights and panel discussion will be following the presentation of the current economic environment by an economist.
The events will conclude with networking drinks.

Amélie Delaunay is the Director of Research and Professional Standards for ANREV, the Asian association for investors in non-listed real estate vehicles where she leads a team of five, responsible for the development and implementation of ANREV’s Research, Market information and Professional Standards programmes in Asia Pacific, including ANREV indices, global surveys and promotion of best practices for the industry.
Amélie has more than 19 years of experience in the real estate industry and a strong real estate consulting background initially with Ernst & Young. She has been based in Asia for more than 16 years.
Educated at the Sorbonne in Paris, where she was awarded a post graduate degree in Urban Geography, Town Planning and Real Estate, Amélie also has an Advanced Master's Degree in Urban and Real Estate Management from ESSEC Business School in Paris. Amélie is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
With more than 15 years of experience in real estate investment, advisory and asset management, Johnny Shao currently leads the Gaw Capital Investment Team in China, covering direct real estate investment, real estate platform investment such as the Green Hyperscale IDC Investment platform, intelligent logistics warehouse platform investment, and life sciences and biomed park investment. Additionally, he assists fund raising including communicating to LPs on a regularly basis for China project updates, and China market trends and outlook. Johnny received a Master of Philosophy in Real Estate Finance from Cambridge University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Economics from Essex University, UK. He is also a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
Mark Cho is a Managing Director in the Real Estate Group based in Shanghai. He is involved in the asset management of Blackstone’s real estate investments in China. Mark joined Blackstone in 2019 and has been involved with Westlink China and other commercial and multifamily real estate assets across China.
Before joining Blackstone, Mark worked at LimeTree Capital China as a Senior Partner and China CEO responsible for capital strategy, investments, asset management and overall operations for the firm. Previously, ark worked at Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management (RREEF) group in Hong Kong as Head of China and COO for the Asia Pacific Region.
Mark received an MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Business, Northwestern University and also holds a Bachelor of Economics degree in Finance and Management from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
Martin Chen has 20 years of experience in the financial and real estate industries across the Greater China region
Prior to joining DNE, Martin was Senior Vice President at GIC’s Greater China Office and spent close to nine years responsible for investment and asset management of real estate asset classes, including residential, commercial, industrial and new economy sectors. Before GIC, Martin worked at the real estate division of J.P. Morgan Asset Management and the commercial real estate team at Standard Chartered Bank in both Hong Kong and Shanghai.
Martin holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and an MBA degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a CFA charter holder.
Stefanie Zhang has more than 10 years of work experience in commercial real estate. She first began her career with Cushman & Wakefield as a management trainee after graduating with a master’s degree in the UK.
Stefanie re-joined Cushman &Wakefield from a reputable international real estate consultancy firm in 2022, where she had spent three years as director of the capital markets team. In her combined 10 years of experience in this role, she has successfully advised on transaction volume of more than US$7 billion across China. Currently, she is very focused on the multifamily sector and advisory and brokerage sector.
Stephen Chu oversees capital partnerships, fund formation, management and strategic business development for Gaolu Group. Stephen has more than 15 years of experience in real estate investing and corporate strategy, having worked in Australia, Hong Kong and Shanghai for leading institutional managers, state wealth funds and multinational corporations. He was most recently Head of Funds Management, North Asia for LOGOS Group, responsible for raising and deploying over US$1.7 billion in institutional capital, as well as successfully exiting multiple development vehicles in China into long term onshore and offshore core vehicles.
Stephen Qiu graduated from the University of Cambridge, where he majored in Real Estate Finance. Having joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2007, Stephen has more than 15 years of experience in Capital Markets with a specialization in investment advisory services in the mainland China market. His impressive track record in major cities across mainland China includes several major transactions such as Shanghai VivoCity, Shanghai Brics Tower, and Project Prominence. Stephen has served a wide variety of clients, including domestic and foreign real estate funds, developers, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and high-net-worth individuals.
