Review of Investor Reporting Trends 2013
At this lunch briefing, Paul Walters, PwC Hong Kong Asset Management Partner presented the key findings of the Review of Investor Reporting Trends 2013 undertaken recently on behalf of ANREV.
This report aims to provide fund managers and investors with insights into the trends in investor reporting practices in Asia and to enable benchmarking of current reporting practices across different geographic regions and fund strategies. As part of the survey, the investor reporting documents of 50 non-listed real estate funds were reviewed, and compared to the detailed requirements of the INREV Guidelines and each other. Private feedback interviews were held with 22 of the 23 participating fund managers, as well as discussions with several investors active in the region to seek their perspectives on where reporting practices should be headed.
We would like to thank the speakers Paul Walters of PwC Hong Kong and Genio van der Schaft of APG Asset Management. This event is sponsored by PwC Hong Kong.
