Alan Ooi, senior vice president, fund manager for Asia, has over 20 years of fund management, investment and corporate finance experience with a real estate focus and is extensively involved in private fund and listed REIT operations across Asia-Pacific. 

Prior to joining Prologis in 2016, Alan was with Ascendas-Singbridge, where he worked for eight years as head and vice president, fund raising (formerly head, China Funds and Investment). He was a fund manager for three private real estate funds with Ascendas-Singbridge in China and previously worked for Mapletree Logistics Trust (REIT), Alliance Investment Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Before repatriating back to Singapore in 2016, Mr. Ooi lived in China for three years and in Hong Kong for a year with Ascendas-Singbridge. He has solid on-the-ground experience as well as a strong understanding of business practices, within China.

He received a master’s of business administration degree in finance from Charles Sturt University and a bachelor’s of business in accounting from Monash University. He is an associate of CPA Australia.
 

Patrick Li, senior vice president, national head of operations and regional director of North China, is responsible for real estate operations nationally. He worked for Prologis in 2013 as the China operations director and re-joined the company in March 2015. He has 18 years of experience in business development and real estate in China.

Prior to joining Prologis, Mr. Li worked as senior director of Walmart China and land acquisitions director of IKEA and METRO China since 1999. Prior to moving into the public sector, he worked for the Foreign Affairs Division of Ministry of Internal Trade as a government officer.

Mr. Li holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Current responsibilities
Perri Yu is responsible for institutional valuation services of Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Appraisal and Advisory Limited and is based in Hong Kong.
Previous experience
Perri is a chartered surveyor with over 16 years of experience in real estate field specializing in the Hong Kong and China market involved in a wide range of valuation and advisory experience in Greater China.
Major clients served in the recent times include ADIA, Allianz, Blackstone, China Resources, CapitaLand, Gaw Capital, GIC, GLP, Goodman, Hines, HSBC, Keppel Land, LOGOS, Macquarie, Mapletree, Morgan Stanley, PGIM, Prologis and Vanke Group.
Positions
Perri is presently a senior director of Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Appraisal and Advisory Limited. He joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 2012 and was stationed in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Before that he has been working in the fields of valuation and consultancy, property development and real estate investment in Hong Kong and China.
