Extracting Value from distressed real estate backed credit investments

10 Jun 2021 @ Web Access

This webinar session is successfully held on 10 June.

Traditionally, real estate backed credit investments are attractive investment products because of their attractive yields, strong security package and low default rate. However, as the market becomes more volatile, any investment could go south so it is important to get prepared.

In this session, Mr Peter Greaves and Mr Victor Jong from the PwC Special Situation Group walked us through the potential options and detailed considerations in a distressed situation and how to maximise value in the unfortunate event of an enforcement. They shared several case studies in China and Hong Kong  to illustrate the range of potential challenges and how such challenges might be overcome.
