Ms. Amélie Delaunay, Director of Research and Professional Standards at ANREV joined by Dr. Henry Chin, Head of Research, APAC/EMEA at CBRE, Mr. Leslie Chua, Senior Vice President & Director of Asia Pacific Investment Research at Heitman, and Ms. Elysia Tse, Head of Asia Pacific Research and Strategy at LaSalle Investment Management, discussed the aspirations for investment into the real estate sector over the next two years, with a focus on non-listed real estate.

Presenters Bios
Amélie Delaunay is the Director of Research and Professional Standards for ANREV. She is responsible for the development and implementation of ANREV’s Research, Performance Measurement and Professional Standards programmes in Asia Pacific, including market information and performance indices, global surveys and promotion of best practices for the industry.
Amélie has more than 17 years of experience in the real estate industry and a strong real estate consulting background initially with Ernst & Young. She has been based in Asia for more than 13 years.
Educated at the Sorbonne in Paris, where she was awarded a post graduate degree in Urban Geography, Town Planning and Real Estate, Amélie also has an Advanced Master's Degree in Urban and Real Estate Management from ESSEC Business School in Paris. Amélie is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Leslie is Senior Vice President and Director of Asia Pacific Investment Research. He is responsible for all research and analysis in the Asia-Pacific region, including assisting with new acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management of properties. Additionally, he researches trends in macroeconomics, demographics, capital markets and property market fundamentals in order to identify relative value and shape investment strategies. Prior to joining Heitman, Leslie was a senior researcher and strategist at Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (previously known as RREEF), a boutique Singapore-based real estate platform (Pacific Star), Standard Chartered Bank and at Jones Lang LaSalle. He has worked in Singapore and Tokyo, and speaks Mandarin.
Leslie received a BA with Honors in Political Science and History from the University of Western Australia.
Elysia Tse is the Head of Asia Pacific Research & Strategy for LaSalle Investment Management. She returned to LaSalle in 2016. Elysia was previously the Head of Investment Governance, Strategy & Research Asia Pacific for Aviva Investors and subsequently the Head of Research and Strategy for J.P. Morgan Asset Management – Real Estate Asia Pacific (as part of the M&A). Before returning to Asia, Elysia has over a decade of experience in real estate investment research and strategy in the U.S. She has held positions in real estate research and strategy teams at BlackRock based in New York and LaSalle based in Chicago. Elysia started her career in Hong Kong in 1998. She holds a B.S. from Xiamen University and a Master’s degree in Real Estate from Cornell University. In 2011, Elysia was named a Rising Leader by Commercial Property Executive in the U.S. She sits on the Advisory Board of Cornell University Baker Program in Real Estate.
