ANREV Japan conference 2021 is successfully held on Friday 3 December at the Andaz Hotel Tokyo Toranomon Hills and streamed worldwide.
Despite the lack of overseas visitors, the Tokyo Olympics provided some cheer for viewers worldwide and boosted the Japanese capital’s already world-leading infrastructure. Mr Robert Feldman of Morgan Stanley MUFG Securities kicked-start the conference by giving his view on what is next for the Japanese economy and where it stands in Asia Pacific and the world.
The conference then looked into the Japanese real estate markets. Investors and industry experts from Japan and overseas discussed investment strategies, inbound and outbound investment, and the supply and demand outlook. The conference featured contributions from a number of Japanese and international LPs, including GPIF, Japan’s $1.6 trillion asset pension fund.
The conference concluded with networking drinks where attendees catched up with each other. ANREV is delighted to hold this in-person event in Tokyo, after our last meeting 22 months ago.
