A webinar session was held on 27 June 2013. Simon Crown of Clifford Chance London provided an update on the latest of The EU Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive which will come into force in July 2013. Simon described the impact of the Directive on non-EU fund managers with EU investors and examined the scope of the Directive, and the practical implications for non-EU managers that will become subject to the Directive.

Simon Crown is a partner in the financial services regulatory practice in Clifford Chance's London office. Simon specializes in financial regulation, with particular focus on private fund management. Simon also has expertise in the area of M&A involving financial institutions, client assets, payments law and Europe Directive relating to financial services, including the Acquisitions Directive.
