Amélie Delaunay

Director, Research & Professional Standards

ANREV

Amélie Delaunay is the Director of Research and Professional Standards for ANREV. She is responsible for the development and implementation of ANREV’s Research, Performance Measurement and Professional Standards programmes in Asia Pacific, including market information and performance indices, global surveys and promotion of best practices for the industry.

Amélie has more than 17 years of experience in the real estate industry and a strong real estate consulting background initially with Ernst & Young. She has been based in Asia for more than 13 years.

Educated at the Sorbonne in Paris, where she was awarded a post graduate degree in Urban Geography, Town Planning and Real Estate, Amélie also has an Advanced Master's Degree in Urban and Real Estate Management from ESSEC Business School in Paris. Amélie is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Alan Dalgleish FRICS

Alan Dalgleish is responsible for leading ANREV's Executive Office team and for working with ANREV's Management and Executive Boards to implement the Association's strategic growth plans. He was previously ANREV's Director of Research and Professional Standards. 

Alan has an extensive real estate background, principally in research, consulting and capital markets, having spent over 30 years working in real estate markets throughout Asia.

Previously, Alan was based in Singapore where he was responsible for the Consulting and Real Estate Finance business lines in Asia of CBRE, one of the world’s leading commercial real estate service providers. Prior to this he was Country Manager for Colliers International in the Philippines. He worked for many years in Hong Kong, for leading investor and developer Hongkong Land, a member of the Jardine Group of companies, as well as for investment bank Société Générale and early in his career in a research role for First Pacific Davies.

Alan was educated in Scotland where he attended Edinburgh University and arrived in Hong Kong in 1982. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Brian Chinappi

Brian has been working in the growth markets of Asia for over two decades. He joined Actis in 2018 through the sale of Standard Chartered Bank’s Principal Finance Real Estate group, a business he founded in 2010. Under his leadership, this business invested over USD 1 billion in opportunistic real estate throughout China, Korea, India and Southeast Asia. The business was successful in forming over 20 joint venture partnerships with high quality partners throughout its markets.

Before joining Standard Chartered Bank, Brian spent sixteen years at RREEF, the real estate investment management arm of Deutsche Bank, almost all of the time based in Asia. Brian started his career with Bankers Trust’s real estate banking group based in New York. He holds a degree in economics from Georgetown University.

Brian manages Actis’ real estate investing in Asia, including an opportunistic real estate fund and related special managed accounts.

Hongpei Chen

Hongpei is the Senior Portfolio Manager for APG Asset Management and is responsible for sourcing and managing real estate investments in Asia.  He has 16 years of experience in the real estate industry working with renowned institutional investors.

Prior to joining APG, Hongpei was the Fund Director managing a core real estate fund of ARA Asset Management and had invested close to USD1 billion of equity in prime commercial real estates. He was part of the real estate investment team of JPMorgan Asset Management and Harvest Capital Partners in earlier part of his career.

Hongpei holds a master of finance degree from Hong Kong Polytechnics University and a bachelor of economics degree from Beijing International Studies University.

Guy Fulton

Guy is currently Managing Director, Real Estate Investments at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board Asia Inc. (CPPIB), responsible for the acquisition of real estate investments for the fund across Asia, with a specific focus on Greater China.    Since joining CPPIB in 2009 Guy has overseen the growth of the China portfolio to its current equity exposure of over USD4 billion.   CPPIB currently has over USD 45 billion invested in property globally of which over USD 10 billion is invested in Asia.

Before joining CPPIB, Guy was Vice President and Chief Representative of Citi Property Investors (CPI) China based in Shanghai.  Guy joined CPI in February 2005 and successfully completed over USD 500 million of commercial and residential transactions by asset value in Greater China.  In addition to his role in acquisitions, Guy was also actively involved in asset management and was responsible for investor relations for CPI’s Asia Fund, which totalled USD 1.3 billion of commitments.

Prior to joining CPI, Guy worked in the Corporate Finance department of Citigroup both in Hong Kong and Moscow, Russia and was also previously a Managing Director of Savills China for five years, establishing the company’s presence in Shanghai. He holds a MBA from New York University and a MA in Chinese from Oxford University.
