Speakers' bio follows:
Matt Feldmann Partner (Hong Kong) Clifford Chance Matt has been in Hong Kong since 1998 and is experienced in all types of funds formation work (including hedge, private equity, real estate, mezzanine, and infrastructure funds), acting as fund investor’s counsel, advising on securities and banking regulatory work, as well as direct private equity investments. Matt is fluent in English, French and German. He is a member of AIMA’s Regulatory Sub-Committee and ANREV's Professional Standards Committee. |

Richard van den Berg Greater China Country Head, Asia Pacific CBRE Global Investors Richard van den Berg is Managing Director and Country Manager for Greater China. Based in Hong Kong, he is responsible for the performance of the Firm’s portfolios in Greater China and activities in the PRC, with oversight of the Shanghai office. He is also a member of the Regional Executive Committee, the Regional Investment Committee and regional management team. Mr. van den Berg joined ING Real Estate Investment Management, which is CBRE Global Investors, in 2004. Prior to that, he was with Rodamco Asia, where he was Director of Asset Management responsible for the performance of residential, retail and office assets in Greater China, Korea, Thailand and the Philippines. Before joining Rodamco Asia in 1995, Mr. van den Berg worked for the Hong Kong Mass Transit Railway Corporation in the Airport Railway project team on the development of the stations and associated property and for a British architectural firm on the design and project management of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Mr. van den Berg began his real estate career in 1986, and has been involved in a broad spectrum of real estate activities covering development, investment and property management. Mr. van den Berg has an Msc (Ir.) in Architecture from the Technical University in Delft and an MBA (Drs) from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, both in The Netherlands. |

Guy Fulton Director, Real Estate Investments Canada Pension Plan Investment Board Asia Inc. (CPPIB) Guy is currently Director, Real Estate Investments, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board Asia Inc. (CPPIB), responsible for the acquisition of real estate investments for CPPIB across Asia. CPPIB has over USD 30 billion investment in property globally of which over USD 6 billion is invested in Asia, including investments in Greater China. Before joining CPPIB, Guy was Vice President and Chief Representative of Citi Property Investors (CPI) China based in Shanghai. Guy joined CPI in February 2005 and successfully completed over USD 500 million total asset value of commercial and residential transactions in Greater China. In addition to his role in acquisitions, Guy was also actively involved in asset management and was responsible for investor relations for CPI’s Asia Fund, which totalled USD 1.3 billion of commitments. Prior to joining CPI, Guy worked in the Corporate Finance department of Citigroup both in Hong Kong and Moscow, Russia and was also previously a Managing Director of Savills China for 5 years, establishing the company’s presence in Shanghai. He holds a MBA from New York University and a MA in Chinese from Oxford University. |

Ryan McCarthy Head of Legal, Real Estate and Private Equity (Asia Pacific) Invesco Ryan is Head of Legal for Invesco’s real estate and private equity businesses in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining Invesco, Mr. McCarthy practiced in the private funds group at Clifford Chance in both New York and Hong Kong, where he advised private equity and real estate fund management companies on all legal aspects of private fund formation as well as related regulatory matters and downstream transactions. Prior to joining Clifford Chance, Ryan was an associate in the corporate group at Dorsey & Whitney in New York, where he advised clients on private offerings and mergers and acquisitions. Ryan is a licensed attorney in the State of New York. |
