Kai-Niklas Schneider
Partner (Singapore)

Kai is a partner and head of the Funds and Investment Management group in Singapore. He is a US qualified lawyer with over 15 years of specialist experience in the funds sector and advises clients on the formation of and investment in a wide variety of funds.

He regularly advises sponsors on accessing the US and EU markets as well as on regional licensing and securities laws. He also advises clients on complex joint ventures and other strategic alliances, with a focus on the financial services sector. Kai is a member of the SVCA Advocacy Subcommittee. He is recognised as an Up-and-Coming Partner and ranked in Chambers Global and Legal 500 in 2012-15.

Matt Feldmann
Partner (Hong Kong)

Matt has been in Hong Kong since 1998 and is experienced in all types of funds formation work (including hedge, private equity, real estate, mezzanine, and infrastructure funds), acting as fund investor’s counsel, advising on securities and banking regulatory work, as well as direct private equity investments. Matt is fluent in English, French and German. He is a member of AIMA’s Regulatory Sub-Committee and ANREV's Professional Standards Committee.

Jefferey D. LeMaster
Associate (New York)

Jefferey is an associate in the Funds and Investment Management group in New York. Since joining the firm in 2006, his practice has been primarily focused on transactions involving hedge funds, private equity funds and closed-end investment companies.

Prior to New York, Jefferey was in Clifford Chance’s Hong Kong office.
