Matt Feldmann Matt has been in Hong Kong since 1998 and is experienced in all types of funds formation work (including hedge, private equity, real estate, mezzanine, and infrastructure funds), acting as fund investor’s counsel, advising on securities and banking regulatory work, as well as direct private equity investments. Matt is fluent in English, French and German. He is a member of AIMA’s Regulatory Sub-Committee and ANREV's Professional Standards Committee. |

Simon Crown Simon Crown is a partner in the Financial Regulation Group. As well as giving standalone regulatory advice to a large number of asset managers, custodians and fund administrators, Simon provides extensive regulatory support to the Private Funds Group in respect of fund structuring and distribution. |

Cliff Cone Cliff Cone is a Partner in the New York office of Clifford Chance. He focuses his practice on the investment management sector and has a broad base of expertise advising alternative investment managers, registered investment companies and boards of directors with respect to all aspects of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. He specializes in the representation of closed-end funds, mutual funds, hedge funds, exchange-traded funds and investment advisers. He also has experience and expertise dealing with “status” issues arising under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. |

Kai-Niklas Schneider Kai is a partner and head of the Funds and Investment Management group in Singapore. He is a US qualified lawyer with over 15 years of specialist experience in the funds sector and advises clients on the formation of and investment in a wide variety of funds. He regularly advises sponsors on accessing the US and EU markets as well as on regional licensing and securities laws. He also advises clients on complex joint ventures and other strategic alliances, with a focus on the financial services sector. Kai is a member of the SVCA Advocacy Subcommittee. He is recognised as an Up-and-Coming Partner and ranked in Chambers Global and Legal 500 in 2012-15.
