Jon T. Tanaka joined Angelo, Gordon & Co. as Managing Director and Country Head of Japan in 2009.  Founded in 1988, Angelo, Gordon & Co manages $25 billion including opportunistic and core plus real estate funds.  The firm’s real estate team invests in North America, Europe and as well as in Japan, China and South Korea. Previously, Mr. Tanaka was a Managing Director in the real estate investment management group of the Deutsche Bank Group where he was responsible for property investing and portfolio management.  Jon is a graduate of Harvard University and holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
