The evolution of private equity real estate in India

 

The inaugural ANREV India Seminar was successfully held in Mumbai on 26 February at the Four Seasons Hotel, over 60 members and guests joined the half day seminar themed ‘The evolution of private equity real estate in India’. The seminar kicked off with keynote speech delivered by Ms Shilpa Kumar, Chief Economist of ICICI Bank which offered an insightful view on current India economy status and its outlook. It was follow by a panel discussion on real estate market of India and its positioning among competitors. ANREV Executive Board Chairman Mr Willem de Geus explained how ANREV helps investors in making investment decisions. Finally, a panel of investors led by Sachin Doshi of APG Asset Management discussed on opportunities and challenges investing in India.
