ULI Asia Pacific Executive Education Workshop
Urban Mixed Use Development: Lesson and Techniques for Success
22 - 23 September 2014, Hong Kong
25 - 26 September 2014, Singapore
For over 75 years, ULI has been working to advance the understanding and practice of sound real estate development and land use. With a time-honored respect for the connection between theory and practical, ULI has developed a keen sense of what it takes to turn ideas into action. Our executive workshops are taught by the most recognized experts who reflect the diverse professionals and real estate expertise that comprise the ULI membership.
This fall, ULI Asia Pacific is pleased to announce a new program entitled Urban Mixed Use Development: Lesson and Techniques for Success. This unique 2-day workshop combines lectures and product case studies, along with candid panel discussion with a range of experts involved in the complex world of developing mixed use projects. Drawing on experience and lessons from the U.S and Australia, and featuring projects from Asia, the program will provide attendees with:
- A framework for defining and organizing mixed use development consistent with company goals, while meeting the needs of local policy makers and jurisdictional requirements
- An understanding of the key design and operating factors that lead to successful projects
- Guidance on pitfalls to avoid in planning and executing mixed use development
- Experience gained from developers working at a range of development scales and locations, and how they have successfully navigated mixed use projects
- International best practices in mixed use, and how the project type may vary depending on country location
- A look at the evolving trends and forces that will shape mixed use in the next 3-5 years
